How to lose that belly fat

Hey ladies, we all have been subjected to the torment of belly fat. The one thing that kills the desire of a svelte figure is that rigid belly protruding and never going in. Of course joining the gym is the easiest thing one can do to make go of that belly, one may think but joining the gym and keeping true to the instructor and oneself is a massive task. Who can resist the temptation of that cheese burst pizza or the smell of blueberry muffins straight out of the oven? Well here I will be telling you about some simple yet effective ways to get rid of that stubborn belly in no time.

Watch the snacks

Snack all you want. But instead of the usual chips and coke have portions of fruit in regular intervals. Try out the seasonal fruits available in the market. You can add a pinch of rock salt and viola you have a lip smacking tummy tucking fruit platter. It will not only keep your stomach full but also will make your skin glow.

Cut that carb from your diet

We all know the major reason we accumulate fat in our body is because of all the carbs we keep stuffing in us. Once that is eliminated our body is at a better position to get rid of that fat. It is a proven fact that when one cuts down on the carbs one can lose weight more easily. Carbs have a tendency to retain water and hence giving that bloated look. One gets almost instant results if one just gets the carbs in check. Avoiding pastas, white breads and other things rich in carbohydrates will definitely help in losing weight.

Include more protein in your diet

By including proteins in your diet you would be providing your body with the will to lose more weight as it has been proven that cravings can be cut down by having proteins. Also it would inhibit regaining the weight which has been lost when you might get off track and decide to indulge in.

Avoid sugary stuff

Try to avoid sweets, sweetened drinks, candy and every other thing that has sugar in it. I know it is a bit hard to resist but then well you do want to lose weight, don’t you? Avoid sugar in all the ways possible if you are actually focused on losing weight.

Exercise

Light exercises, jogging, stretching, skipping will all aid in losing that fat faster.  Morning jogs and evening walks will not only help in getting rid of fat but also will freshen up the mind and the soul. The fresh air you breathe will help increase blood circulation and reduce stress.

Conclusion

Keep true to yourself- often we resolve to do anything to lose weight to fit into that dress we’ve been eying but it seldom happens that we are strictly following the weight loss regime. Most of the times the temptation gets the better of us. So be true to yourself and keep in mind that you have to work hard to get that belly off.

Use a blender to combine all of the ingredients, and apply to damp hair before shampooing (or in-between two shampooings). Leave the mask on for at least 15 minutes, and then rinse out with lukewarm water.

DIY hair conditioners

  • Olive oil and egg conditioner

This is a very easy conditioner to make, and you can use it every time you wash your hair! Eggs are full of protein and help your hair to retain moisture, and honey is also a moisture-trapping ingredient that will make your hair look extremely shiny.

What you need: 1 egg, whisked + ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil + 2 tablespoons organic honey

Apply the conditioner to damp hair (honey on dry hair = an awful, sticky mess!), and leave it on for about 5 minutes before washing it out with shampoo, and then rinse your hair very well.

  • Banana and honey conditioner

Treat your hair to a “banana smoothie” for soft, shiny locks.

What you need: 1 or 2 over-ripe bananas (depending on hair length) + 1 tablespoon organic honey + 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Use a blender to make the conditioner – this is essential, as the banana needs to be free from lumps (sticky banana lumps are very difficult to remove from your hair). Massage the conditioner into damp hair, paying particular attention to your scalp. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then shampoo and rinse as usual.
